1.) In one clip, Lewis tells Olivia that he has the girl hostage. He tells her to tell the truth on national television. In another clip, we see her doing that. Yet, he still lures Olivia in, even though she did what he asked. Why? (Okay, this one is probably just because it’s Lewis and of course…
I totally agree, especially about the season finale - which I suspect will be the series finale. I’ll be really sad to see Mariska/this show go but we have hundreds of episodes. Everything must end. Plus I’d love to see M in a comedy role and she’d have more time for her advocacy interests which are super important.
The ‘I love you’ scene was sweet but I find it difficult to believe that they’ve been together for around 2 years, living together for months and never said it before. I mean how many times has she woken up screaming and he’s comforted her back to sleep, how many times has she started shaking uncontrollably and he’s tried to talk her down. I know if I was supporting my girlfriend through that, I would tell her I love her every day.
It would have been more believable if they’d said I love you without the ‘I’ve never told you this before’ nonsense.
I miss season 3 Benson. Watching Counterfeit reminded me how awesome she used to be. I mean I know character development and all that but I think SVU’s time might be up. It’s lost the delicate balance between character involvement and storyline. I love Kelli Giddish though, I hope she finds another hit series worthy of her.
If Marish leaves after this season, as I strongly suspect she will, they’ve definitely lost a viewer.
